EVERY CHILD MATTERS

Hi our names are Ellie and Jake and we are on the Werneth School Council.  

We work with staff, students and parents to combat bullying of any kind.  We have set up all kinds of systems and initiatives at school, including:

• Vertical forms
• Anti-bullying roadshow
• Surveying areas in need of supervision at break and lunchtime
• Training our students to be peer mentors
•  Poster campaigns (see our section on the school website for more details).

We know that the reporting of incidents and being able to talk to someone in confidence is key to beating the bully.
